Swim charity update #swimming

18.36 miles swam so far for 2016. That leaves about 81 miles and some change before December 31st. Can he do it? Stay tuned to find out. Next up: Georgia Games 3k swim! Won't you please consider donating to Heifer to show me some love. Even $5 would mean a lot! Thank you! https://give.everydayhero.com/us/fish-out-of-water-swimming-fundraiser#/ www.heifer.org

Fort Yargo triathlon #xterra

Had a great time at Fort Yargo triathlon! Awesome to have my fam at the finish an  Renee Lowe sherpa-ing for me and doing a sprint to the transition area! The lake was surprisingly warm for the swim and no wetsuits were allowed. I think I swam an extra 200 yards and the swim felt uphill! My bike leg was solid and felt good and was nice to have a mechanically viable bike versus my chain debacle from 2 years ago. Ended up with a flat-feeling run and didn't have much kick but I knew something was right because I felt pukey. Today was a solid result considering I'm still recovering from my 50k and I feel that my legs are slowly getting back to form.  XTERRA Southeast Athletes   ‪#‎ xterra‬   everydayhero  Thanks to GoneRiding.com  for a fun, well-organized event!
